THE CHALLENGE
The Ambiente team was contacted by one of the UK’s leading installers of liquid floor and flowing screeds to supply an underfloor heating solution for a rural luxury estate in the heart of the Cotswolds.
Comfort and style are at the core of everything the luxury estate embodies, and the idyllic retreats and homes have all the latest mod cons and fashionable furnishings. To maximise comfort, an underfloor heating installation was the extra touch of luxury needed to provide benefits for the guests, visitors and the building itself.
Based on the contractor’s brief, Ambiente needed to provide a solution for a first-floor application that incorporated a screed system while minimising floor build-up height and a reduction in insulation depth alongside the ground floor layout requirements.
THE SOLUTION
Ambiente has a UFH solution for every application and project, so a system fit for a luxury property was simple, even with the unique brief specifications.
The AmbiTak system was supplied for the ground floor and will provide even and effective heating within a screeded floor build-up. With a heat output of up to 100 W/m2, property users will experience higher levels of comfort while enjoying the sanctuary of the estate.
The AmbiCastellated and AmbiSolo systems were used for the first floor to hold the pipework securely and minimise build-up height. The AmbiSolo system offers a heat output of up to 120 W/m2 for the ultimate consistent heating experience from the ground up.
