Suited to correct uneven subfloors
AmbiCoustic C+B (Cradle and Batten) Underfloor Heating System Overview
- New build, refurbishment & conversion projects
- Concrete subfloors
- Timber subfloors
- Commercial installations, such as schools, sports floors and dance floors
- Gyms & free weight areas
AmbiCoustic Cradle and Batten enables quick and simple levelling of uneven subfloors through the use of 2 mm and 5 mm cradle packers positioned within the cradle legs and below the battens. Additional levelling can also be achieved with 10 mm and 30 mm cradle base packers.
No levelling screeds are required as AmbiCoustic can be placed directly on the subfloor and, as the cradles are loosely positioned on the subfloor, no fixings are required either. The versatility of the system also allows for a wide range of finished floor heights to be achieved and increased heights can be accomplished with the use of base packers.
This dry and lightweight solution also eliminates the need for wet trades, which significantly reduces preparation time and installation costs, as well as streamlining programming, on-site processes and reducing structural loadings.
