THE CHALLENGE

This large residential project in Park Royal comprises 38 self-contained residential units, associated cycle parking, landscaping, and related amenities. The client had very specific requirements, and the delivery programme was critical to keeping the project on track.

Ambiente UFH worked closely with the main contractor to provide full wet underfloor heating designs and a screed build-up solution. To meet all of the demands of the project, the Ambiente experts specified and supplied the AmbiTak wet underfloor heating system.

THE SOLUTION

AmbiTak is a quick and flexible UFH system that provides an even and effective form of heating within a screeded floor build-up. Wet underfloor heating pipework is typically clipped to a laminated EPS sheet (25mm minimum) with a printed grid to help the installer achieve the correct pipe spacings.

The main contractor has their own in-house installers who started installing Ambiente UFH in the 7.4-million-pound residential project in April 2022. AmbiTak offers quick and efficient installation to help keep the extensive project on schedule and in line with the client’s goals.

The AmbiTak system will be installed across the residential units with LunaStat underfloor heating controls to provide multifunction temperature control with six operational modes.

When the residential project is complete, Ambiente AmbiTak wet underfloor heating will offer consistent, comfortable heat output up to 100W/m^².
