Archway Road
Ambiente is proud to have supplied its underfloor heating system for a new build development of 25 apartments, plus an enlarged basement space for commercial use, on Archway Road, Highgate, London. The project involved developing the existing shopfront, which involved retaining and enhancing the Victorian façade.
The development was originally specified with electric underfloor heating; we were pleased to bring our expertise and extensive product offering to the project and it was respecified with hydronic (wet) underfloor heating.
We partnered with an accredited installer and designed a full floor build-up solution using our AmbiTak system. The system consists of UFH pipework stapled to the insulation, with a specialist tool, prior to the screed layer being laid.
Ambiente underfloor heating is the ideal solution for new build developments, not only due to the system type, but also the quantity of insulation that is installed in a new-build property. This combination provides enhanced heat outputs and increased efficiency, leading to more effective heating – just some of the many benefits of underfloor heating.
