St. Charles Sixth Form College

The works included the installation of an Ambiente underfloor heating system throughout all areas – with high ceilings and limited wall spaces to hang radiators, underfloor heating was the natural choice for this project.

Ambiente worked closely with the supplier of the air-source heat pump to make sure that the system struck the perfect balance between efficiency and heat output.

The system was a great success with positive comments from many of the building users and above all, the college was awarded a top BREEAM rating for energy efficiency.
