The Lakes, Lechlade

The Lakes by YOO is a private estate of second family homes and rental residences in the heart of the Cotswolds. With 850 acres of lakes, meadows and ancient woodland, it’s as serene as it is secure.

The concept of the Lakes is the creation of luxury, contemporary, designer 4, 5 and 6 bedroom lakeside and woodland second homes with leisure facilities in a peaceful secure Estate in the Cotswolds, Gloucestershire for families seeking peace of mind, relaxation, concierge and plenty of activities.

Ambiente was honoured to supply its Underfloor Heating system throughout many of these beautiful properties.  Our AmbiTak system was installed on the ground floor, consisting of UFH pipework clipped to an insulation layer, prior to the floor screed being laid.

On the upper floor, our AmbiFloat 10 (25mm) system was installed, consisting of UFH pipework laid into a pre-grooved and foiled insulation panel, and then overlaid with a structural cement board.

The Ambiente NEO Digital control system was selected for controlling the underfloor heating, comprising 7-day programmable time and temperature settings across 4 time cycles, holiday mode, frost mode & many other user friendly and energy efficient functions.  With the addition of a NeoHub unit in each house, the heating system can be completely smartphone-controllable.
