Ambiente underfloor heating was installed throughout the ground floor of this property. In the new extension area, our AmbiClip system was installed – consisting of pipework clipped to the insulation layer, prior to floor screeding. In the existing part of the house, our AmbiLowboard (SRB) system was installed – consisting of an 18mm grooved cement-based board, with 12mm UFH pipework incorporated. The reason for selecting the AmbiLowboard (SRB) system was that it can be tiled directly onto, which was critical in order to keep the build-up of the floor to a minimum. The Ambiente PRT/E thermostat was selected for controlling the underfloor heating systems in each zone, comprising 7 day programmable time and temperature settings across 4 time cycles, holiday mode, frost mode & many other user friendly and energy efficient functions.
