The renovation works included the installation of an Ambiente underfloor heating system throughout all areas – with high ceilings and limited wall spaces to hang radiators, underfloor heating was the natural choice for this project.
Ambiente worked closely with the supplier of the air-source heat pump to make sure that the system struck the perfect balance between efficiency and heat output.
On the ground floor, our AmbiClip system was used – with the pipework stapled to the insulation layer and incorporated into the screed slab. On the upper floor, a similar system was used, but this time between battens – often referred to as ‘biscuit screed’.
The system is controlled via digital/programmable room thermostats, strategically located to create a balanced ambient heat throughout the building.
